About Splitsense

The internet has no shortage of marketing tools. Most of them promise to “leverage synergies” and “put the customer at the centre of everything you do.” Then they hand you a dashboard you need a data team to read.

Splitsense is the opposite of that.

What we do

Splitsense is an AI-powered A/B testing and conversion optimisation tool. It works on any website with a single script, and it plugs straight into Shopify.

You install it once. Then our AI agents get to work. They study how visitors use your site and spot where people drop off. They suggest what to test and build the variants. Then they run the experiments and tell you what happened in plain English.

You get the results of a CRO team without hiring one. Plans start free, and paid plans start at $24 a month.

Why we built it

Splitsense started with frustration. Our founder used the big analytics and testing platforms at a VC-funded startup. They were powerful, but they were built for developers and enterprise teams with budgets to match. The UI was hard to digest. Getting a real answer out of them took hours.

Most businesses don’t have a dedicated CRO function. They still want their websites to convert. So we built the tool we wished we’d had.

Who’s behind it

Splitsense is built by three engineers who also run TrueCraft, a UK engineering studio. We build production systems for clients, from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups. Splitsense is the product we built for ourselves.

George Field, Founder
George has been coding since he was 15. He started by modding Xboxes and games, back when breaking things to understand them seemed like a reasonable hobby. He has spent the last eight years at startups and scale-ups.

George Field

Before Splitsense, he was a Senior Software Engineer at Hours, a Voice AI startup. George thinks like a founder first. He cares about funnels, user behaviour and UX that removes friction. Every technical call starts with one question. Will this help people convert? He writes most of what you’ll read on the blog.
LinkedIn

Dr Sam Sutton, Data & AI Infrastructure
Sam studied at both Cambridge and Oxford and holds a doctorate in computational and synthetic supramolecular chemistry. He caught the data bug in IP consulting, where he built tools to support decision making.

Sam Sutton

Since then he has built data, ML and AI systems in production at startups and scale-ups. He has scaled pipelines from tens to millions of events a day and cut costs while improving latency. At Splitsense, Sam makes sure the data behind every experiment is fast and correct.

James Kelly, AI & Systems Engineer
James is an in-the-weeds engineer. He does his best work where implementation details decide success or failure. He has built agentic AI workflows and real-time audio pipelines.

James Kelly

He also wrote Jacana, a high-throughput Solana indexer built on Apache Arrow and ClickHouse. He will use Rust anywhere he can, even on the frontend. At Splitsense, James works on the agents that run your experiments.
Profile

We’re a small team based in Wiltshire, UK. Small means you talk to the people who build the product.

The blog

The Splitsense blog is where we write the guides we wanted when we were learning CRO and A/B testing. They go past the obvious. They assume you can follow along without seventeen screenshots of a button.

No thought leadership. No hot takes dressed up as insight. Just practical content for people who want their websites to work harder.
